It was unfortunately a country lane rather than a main road so not really feasible to create any sort of crossing

It was a young female, thankfully not lactating (so no dependent cubs). Moved her to the verge so nothing else gets hit if they come to scavenge her. I'm just so absolutely mortified (and yes I did my PhD on the danger of roads to wildlife)

I used to give myself heatstroke in the summer because I wouldn't drink because I didn't want to pee outside 🥰 (I am now older and give fewer fucks and have already done so today once 😂)
