Today, we talke about one of the most famous photographs in history and the fallout that affected all participants, revealing how deep hypocrisy runs when dealing with politics and sports.

Today's story is the 1968 Olympic Black Power Salute.
The famous photograph of Black Olympic athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos standing on the medal podium at the 1968 Olympics. Both athletes are wearing a single black glove and have one armed raised in a Black power salute. Australian athlete Peter Norman, who is white, stands on the podium as well.

And JUST now, Colorado Children's is back to giving care!

Dear TRUE Patient-Family, Today, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced that Colorado will be joining a lawsuit filed last week in a federal court in Washington state. A federal judge in that case entered an order on Feb. 14 stopping federal agencies from enforcing the executive order’s ban on gender-affirming care for patients under 19 years of age. Based on the federal court in Washington agreeing to add Colorado to the coverage of this lawsuit, we believe the temporary restraining order and any subsequent legal filings in this case will allow Children’s Hospital Colorado to resume gender-affirming medical care, including puberty-blocking and hormone-based medical care. We plan to begin offering this medical care again starting on Monday, Feb. 24. It wouldn’t let me add the whole message. Here is the rest What does this mean for you? · If you are an established patient with an active prescription, you do not need to schedule a follow-up any sooner than recommended at your last visit. ‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

The federal government is attempting to erase us and take away our history.

It's so ridiculous to me when people say, "Capitalism breeds innovation!" Really? Because I remember the time before people tried to monetize the internet. I remember when things were made of better quality. As soon as someone decides to maximize profits and minimize costs, the quality goes down.

I love Asian food (yes, the whole continent) but can't use chopsticks to save my life. I love the sweet, indulgent, and amused smile the restaurant staff always gives me when I ask if I could please have a fork. It has the same effect as someone patting my hand and saying, "There, there."
