For a state struggling to educate Tasmanians for the 21st century, swinging fee hikes and course cuts is the last thing we need. Looks like budget cuts in all the wrong places to help pay for the AFL stadium we don’t need and can’t afford. #politas

State Lab in WA is owned by Woodside. Dean Winter’s State Lab in Tas is owned by loggers, miners and fish farm corporates. Albanese makes sure he facilitates what his state counterparts want. Winter wants to extend exemption from EPBC enjoyed by loggers and fish farm corps to all energy developers.

Interesting how both labor and liberal have committed to sort out the budget but are both also committed to building an entirely unnecessary stadium which is guaranteed to make things worse. Can’t get more Tasmanian than that.

Do The Nationals realise that magistrates in the UK are not professional lawyers but more like our Justices of the Peace? Andrew Jenner has not been a legal professional. He got away with saying he was a retired magistrate in 2024 but this time they’ve actually said “succeed in law”. #politas

The biggest problem with the ALP right now is it is led by someone who irrationally hates the Greens.
He doesn't really like to "fight Tories"; he loves to fight the party that reveals his actual lack of "left-wing" positions.
Someone needs to tell him to get over his uni politics crap.
