I am impressed by the lengths you went to show how much snow there was.
In #winter 2018, Icelandic photographer Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir wanted to show her partner, who was away in the capital, how much it had snowed overnight at their home and posted a photo of herself on FB #womensart

The Canadian Rockies are home to some of earth's most spectacular mountain scenery. Radiating clouds reflect the last light of day onto turquoise Peyto Lake & the mountains of the Endless Chain which, true to their name, end at the edge of the world.

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …
