#Muskrump is consolidating power. Their goal is to have docile federal workers who will do what they're told to do regardless of what that is. The federal layoffs/firings aren't to "streamline" government, make it cost-effective, or get rid of "bloat." It's to make sure workforce is easy to control.
But even if every federal worker were fired, it wouldn’t make a dent in the massive deficit increase Trump is proposing. The total federal employee payroll amounts to $271 billion—nowhere near enough to offset the trillions being added to the debt. So what’s the purpose here?
