She's in a special education co op now, and just eye balling, I would say the student body is about 3/4 male students.

Yep! My daughter is usually the only girl in her class. Even when she was in a standard school in their special education break out groups, she was usually either the only girl, or one of two girls. The regular public school had no idea how to handle a girl that "acted out like a boy."

We have spent so much on an educational consultant. It wasn't even that our district was fighting us on the accommodations that we asked for; we didn't know all the accommodations to ask for. In some cases, the district didn't know some of the things she suggested were even options.

I just label it self soothing.

I was a teen when "Captain Planet" was on TV, and I remember thinking how utterly silly nearly all the villain motivations were, and now I feel like DIC really underplayed how short sightededly greedy Hoggish, Looten, and Verminous were.

Why do these super rich people always cheap out on the things they could totally splurge on and not even feel it in their bank account? He could afford $400 a month for balayage and the upkeep.

Our kids both had multiple days of screenings and we were given basically a book at the end of the process.

One of my kids also saw a neurologist and did a 24 hour EEG to rule out seizure disorder. But at least we were prepared for the "lol just kidding!" when the pre-auth was revoked.

I didn't even know insurance companies could come back and say, "we were just kidding when we said this was covered and when we sent the payment to your doctor."

We were lucky to have good credit and a good relationship with our credit union, and we were able to get a 24 month loan to cover the bill from the neuropsychology office.

Neuropsychological evaluations are not a covered benefit on our plan. We found this out after we got "pre-authorization" for our first child, began the evaluation process, and then got a denial letter. We appealed, insurance paid, and then 10 months later did a claw back of the payment.

Twice!

We are financially comfortable and the only reason we were able to afford the evaluations for our son and daughter is because we were able to borrow the up front $5000 cost each time.

HepB vaccine is so safe and such an easy way to protect people from an awful disease. 3 of my youngest sisters got the HepB series in their first 6 months, and with all the terrible things that happened them as teens, I believe our mom saved their lives with her pro-vax choices.

Great minds think alike! We had chili and cornbread last night.

Tonight is chicken and the last of my garden veggies!

I can see how having a full size tub in a mudroom/laundry room would be super helpful. Especially if you have kids in sports or dogs that like to roll in stuff right after coming home from the groomers.

I love that you have to walk through the whole house to get to the Mudroom from the front door.

Who else is reading "Gallery Halll" like the announcer of the Arsenio Hall show?

I read a shifter book where the characters all looked for hookups on Growlr.

That number also includes books and magazines I buy for my kids. It's not all just gay monster dong up in here.

I'm one middle aged middle class Midwestern housewife.

This year to date, I have spent $2267.82 on reading materials, the vast majority of which were genre romance books in various forms (special edition, paperback, e-book, and audio.)

This is how I do it, too. I have a bedtime paper back book, I have a chores audiobook, I have my Kindle that I read on while I'm on the recumbent bike
