So, the building I work in is.. older? and if I use a small floor space heater, if someone uses the microwave, it flips the breaker for this 1/2 of the building on this floor.
I found a small mini heater that runs off USB and a fraction of the wattage of a floor heater. You can see the button of it.

I sold my house and started renting a townhouse.. so now I just have a stoop, but George is sat in the chair next to the door, with his little skele dog on a leash in his lap.

Seriously.. The dopamine hit I got just from this. And this is my gaming set up now.. Getting a new table that will slide under the couch to make it more comfortable. Might not be AS comfortable for the cat who immediately tried to sit on the keyboard.. but we'll adjust.

Also, in my 50's, starting to really teach myself how to stretch because it's time to get the combat boots back out, with my torn sweaters, mohawk and color my hair.. dammit.
Tip: If you are old enough to have some trouble with laces, they make boot zipper inserts that lace in. Just saying.

So.. I'm having sciatica for the first time in my life. This sucks. SO MUCH. After 4 days of it increasingly getting worse to feeling like I can't trust to walk on my leg, I finally looked up some stretches and took some ibuprofen.
The effing stretches helped. I HATE THAT, but they helped.

And I have a wild theory that things escalated when they instituted credit scores. It's a system to keep poor people poor.

Fact: coffee at Waffle House is amazing.. but only as long as it’s in a mug IN the Waffle House. Once you leave or it goes in a paper or styrofoam cup, it’s not as good.

Most days when I get a package, they just toss it on the porch and leave. (It's several steps up my porch).
But every now and then, you get a delivery person who cares. I know for a fact George had kind of fallen over a bit in the chair. So they set them up and placed it in George's lap.

One day in their early 20's, they brought me a book.. Said it reminded them of how I see magic in the woods and fae/ghosts/dragons everywhere. I bawled like a baby. I just hope it rubs off on them when they get even older.
