Get parked in the massive parking lot.. see the shuttle came in behind me and is parked one row over. Gathered my stuff, walked a row over.. and they're already full.

Walked in with Ironic playing in my head.

Listening to the Cultured Bumpkin's rendering of The Christmas Carol being read in an accent that I grew up with. It's lovely and helping this morning be productive. After this, I may go and listen to his MacBeth.

My mother was in love with Gil Gerard.. it's the only reason I was allowed to stay up and watch Buck Rogers. RIP.

Again, sat here at my desk, in my santa/christmas tree shirt, wearing a big read sequined bow on my head, a string of lit up snowflakes around my neck, my flameless candle flickering on my desk, music in the background & youtube fireplace on my 2nd monitor.
I am REALLY trying to be upbeat, I swear!

Can we set a sub-category for "trauma crocheting"?

Like, I used crocheting to quiet my rambling brain while I was trying to deal with raccoons in the attic and selling my house. And I crocheted the same thing over and over and over.. It was literally a trauma response.

'Here We Come a-Wassailing' linocut print combining the Christmastide Wassail and the Orchard Wassail. The latter folkloric practice is done to awaken the cider apple trees and to scare away evil spirits to ensure a good harvest of fruit in autumn.

I regret not including Ian McShane.

I have to say, the Library aspect of the game blew me away. Going to go research something in the mansion library, and actually being able to do so, that was AWESOME.
"The Seance of Blake Manor also features some truly moving (and horrific) storylines, gorgeous Mignola-esque art, tension thick enough to cut with a knife, and an enlightening perspective on Irish history and folklore."

The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

He also says he'd love to work on Katamari again, and for someone to invest in his studio.

I came across a great version of Redneck Christmas Carol by the cultured bumpkin! youtu.be/IkquPtv_ycc?...

It is well worth hitting up his Patreon and/or YouTube. I’m going on a roadtrip tomorrow and queuing this up for it. Or maybe MacBeth.

Haha.. coworker was really into Twilight. My bestie and I went to a special all movie showing when they released the last movie as support..couldn’t sit w/ coworker & forced to sit in front row.
We had planned to do jazz hands when the vamps sparkled. Turns out the whole 2 front rows were there to
- seeing jurassic park at the second-run theater and me and my friends were the only people there and we got yelled at to get off the stage

- seeing pulp fiction for the third time at the second-run theater at night and it was completely sold out, even the balcony, crowd raucous as hell
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

I mean, this is .. a drop in the bucket.. and it was done quietly, but I also know that it heralds a turning back on those very important holidays in larger schemes. It's a trial run for how it will be taken nationally later. It's just kind of disgraceful, that's all.

I think the brcc coffee that's in the breakroom is upsetting my stomach. I haven't had a chance to get any to replace it.

So to settle my stomach, I went and got hospital coffee..

This is not going in the direction I wanted it to go.

There are times I wanted to blow up my dad's antennas.. Kind of hard to do that with coax cable strung up between trees.
“He wouldn’t be the first radio ham in Hookland to become convinced creatures are living in the cold static between stations.”
“The first to try and blow up a BBC transmitter though.”
“Not even the first to do that. The path between static beasts and bombs is well trod.”
