Thanks to Sammy and his team I’ve been able to see Anna B Savage, Pigs x7, Vanishing Twin, Bas Jan, Alabaster DePlume, Beak,Tapir!, Smote, Shovel Dance Collective and Goblin Band, The Oh Sees and loads more all in this silly little town.

I had that one and it never quite landed for me so I sold it. I suspect it was one - of many - mistakes I’ve made in this cursed life.
The one I’m holding is well worth having a listen to. O’Rourke makes Tweedy much more palatable/less dull.

I watched 'My Darling Clementine' last week and my favourite bit was Henry Fonda idling on the boardwalk, leaning back on a chair, switching his weight between feet on a wooden post. A brief moment of absent-minded play before the inevitable show down.

I saw them play at Smugglers Festival last year on a small stage in a woodland setting and it was just beautiful. I cried quite a lot.
