🧵In my expert opinion as a researcher of vehicle ramming attacks, what has been publicly described in the video evidence does not support the claim that Renee Nicole Good was attempting a deliberate ramming attack when she was shot in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. 1/7

I have not forgotten that Portland activists spent MONTHS on the streets under law enforcement occupation every night in clouds of teargas dodging pepper balls.

Editorial in the National Catholic Reporter: "The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel."

I made a joke about Vance having to be kept away from the couches at parties.

The kiddo immediately demanded, “Why?”

We settled on “Because he does not play safely on furniture.”

Already love my Bose speakers but this makes me really happy that I spent the extra money to go with Bose over another company that would be forcing me to buy new speakers every few years.
This should honestly be a legal requirement for discontinued products.
Bose is open-sourcing its old smart speakers instead of bricking them

For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Good’s vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies

This is a great first step, now let’s encourage the city to abandon their X accounts. Any presence on X is abetting child sex abuse materials.
Bluesky community! This is my official NYC mayor account. I’ll be posting updates on what’s happening at City Hall and how we’re delivering for New Yorkers. It’s great to be here.

The NewYork Post published a front page supporting the official regime LIE that the ICE agent who executed an American civilian was struck by a car. That lie is immediately disproven by all videos captured by onlookers. Disinformation. Lachlan Murdoch is poised to be a modern day Julius Streicher.

For the people (not inaccurately) comparing the IDF to ICE:

We didn't learn violent oppression of people from Israel.

Israel learned it from US.

it also lays bare that these people know nothing about leadership, it’s like hegseth going to do PT or noem flying down to CECOT for content, none of these people actually want to work, they all just want to be on tv
Also, I wonder if people get how strange it is that Bovino keeps showing up on all these raids.

He's one of the top-most CBP officials there is. It'd be like if NYPD Commish Tisch kept putting on body armor to do small drug raids in NYC all the time.

Lays bare that this is all about spectacle.
I always thought the term "cosplaying" was overused until ICE/CBP started showing up everywhere. Look at this guy, does he think it's Fallujah? (It's a high school in Minneapolis).

It’s easy to think that schools in Minneapolis are closed because the Feds murdered someone in the street but no, the actual reason is that while that was happening, the Feds were busy doing other heinous shit across the city like tear-gassing a school
“The move came after officials at Roosevelt High School said armed U.S. Border Patrol officers came on school property during dismissal Wednesday and began tackling people, handcuffed two staff members and released chemical weapons on bystanders.” — www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

When a cop murdered my big brother at a road block 21 years ago, their post-facto justification was that he tried to run over a cop.

His foot released the brake after the officer shot him in the chest, and the car bumped an officer.

I was just thinking about him, and how greater Minneapolis has lost too many of its sons and daughters to state violence. But also about how its people rise to meet the moment. That's why we know their names.

It's all just so heartbreaking and infuriating.
When the cop murdered Philando Castile his girlfriend and her 4 year old daughter were also in the car.

Two queer women with a 6 year old in school today stopped to film ICE and for their bravery ICE agents murdered one before the other’s eyes. The grief in the survivor’s voice is a knife to the gut. Destroying people and their bonds is what ICE has always done.
NEWS: In a heartbreaking video, after ICE shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis, a woman who was in the same SUV cries out: “They killed my wife. I don’t know what to do."

“We stopped to videotape, and they shot her in the head,” the distraught woman sobs.
