I hope men understand that it is very very rare for anyone who is not a woman’s lover, close friend, or relative to stand up for her when another man insults her in a room of other men. It is incredibly unusual. They may not join in the bullying, but they’re unwilling to step in to stop it.

I have so many questions:
Did the Vikings find Peru and bring back alpacas?
Were the alpacas already Jewish or did they convert after becoming Vikings?
Were the other Vikings Jewish, or just the alpacas?
Is the mohel also an alpaca or do they need to get a mohel with opposable thumbs?

Conway, hijiki tofu burgers at Dojo, huuuuge liverwurst sandwiches that could feed you for four meals at Carnegie Deli, cocktails at The Dove, late night pierogies at Odessa, Woolworth’s in Penn Station, and even though it was a relatively new addition, chocolate soup dumplings at Rickshaw.
I'm not going to read the NYT story but I do want to hear what other people would put in their "Lost New York" takes, mine would include Dr Zizmor ads and the free transfer between the Broadway G/Lorimer JMZ stops
