LNVH aims to promote and sustain equal representation of women in academia, works towards the betterment of the position of women of all backgrounds, and pushes for an inclusive and safe academic community.
If the share of women professors continues to grow at its current rate, gender parity among full professors will not be reached until late 2040. However, when projecting future growth on the basis of the past three years, parity is not expected to be achieved until 2043.
