found some sprucecone caps (Strobilurus esculentus) this weekend #fungifriends
small mushrooms with fuzzy orange basal mycelium and dull yellow stems and white gills emerge from a decaying spruce cone. a spruce needle is longer than any of the mushrooms. two lanky mushrooms with brown caps and white stipes emerge from a spruce cone more mature mushrooms growing from a spruce cone. their gills are white and the stipe is a gradient from orange-brown to white

2 mushrooms, one large and in the ground, the under plucked and upturned. The former is pale violet with brown. The upturned one is pale violet and has an inrolled cap margin and crowded gills.

found in central Wisconsin
old decaying brown stem (base of fern frond) with tiny gray-white dots on top of old log same but zoomed in further. The fungal fruiting bodies are translucent. same but zoomed in as far as I could manage while still keeping things (at least kind of) in focus

Any ID help, #fungifriends ? Looks kind of like some things in Nectriaceae, but I really don't know that family.

I'm in my tiny ascomycetes era. I think this is genus Orbilia, but please correct me if needed so I can learn! #fungifriends
small cup shaped but fairly flat orange fruiting bodies on decaying bark the same but with my fingernail in the frame showing how diminutive they are. probably about 1mm, but I'm bad at estimating the same but zoomed out, revealing tracks from insect damage on the bark as well microscopic shot of one of the fruiting bodies. an orange mass with some long cylindrical cells sticking out bunched closely

small jelly-looking disc-shaped ascocarps on decaying hardwood the same with my index fingertip for scale. The fruiting bodies are VERY small (~1mm) More fruiting bodies. These ones are more cup-shaped and wrinklier but seem to be the same kind.

2 ducks in a large river. closer one is mostly brown (presumably female) and the father one is black with some white near the bill and on the breast.

Any ID help? I found these in an area of red and white pine in Central Wisconsin. They look like Gymnopus subsulphureus, but as far as I know, those grow in hardwood duff.

2 mushrooms in pine duff. One is upturned to reveal close, pale yellow gills and a stipe that is yellow on top and browner towards the bottom. The cap has an umbo slightly darker than the yellowish brown color.
