NVM I remembered it's cause animation companies and art companies want to use AI that's accelerating climate change and exploitation. we are all gonna die in like 50 years. We could just not work for art corporations entirely. Looks at digital circus and shit. They did it better than most.

Is there even a point to making art if not only for personal enjoyment and expression? Maybe adding money to it devalues art entirely. Maybe that's why my main income is selling drugs and art and not just art lol

The distinction between skilled vs unskilled labour predates industrial capitalism. In old regime France there was a division between gens de bras (men of arms) and hommes de peine (men of punishment) eg casual labourers vs gens de métier (tradesmen) who performed a mechanical art eg a carpenter.
