ICE agents hide their identities with gaiters and masks so we can’t identify them while peaceful protestors (some wearing masks because of health concerns and disabilities) in some states are banned from wearing them. If you are so ok with disappearing people, why not show your faces?

Hey Republicans, I’m wondering if there is a red line for you in this hellscape. What I just watched happen in the Oval Office goes against all the “American” ideals you claim to believe in. You’d rather keep silent and gain power and more $ than you can ever spend than stand up for your country.

It's not that rhetoric isn't useful. It's that not only is there an absence of a plan to combat what we're seeing, but on top of that, the rhetoric from many Democratic lawmakers feels detached. The messaging is ludicrously subdued. Unhelpfully formal. There is a massive failure in reading the room.

We need to change the narrative and do what we can- it will look different for each of us, based on your own power/ privilege. The harm they intend to cause so many people is not normal or acceptable. Please call your senators and rep- demand a response! They work for you.

So are we just stuck with Senator Schumer as the minority leader til the end of days? Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like we may need someone with a little less interest in decorum and more interest in resistance.
