The government seems to have zero understanding of the results of multiple oil exploration campaign around NZ or the economics applied by oil companies to drill prospects. As for building a gas terminal it's a billion $ for terminal, storage & transmission with NZ dependant on international supply

· Administrative and Support down - 10,240

· Retail down - 7,177

Overall filled jobs are down 42,341 in two years

Finding new oil is a fantasy of this government. Any O&G explorationist can tell them that the likelihood of a new find in NZ is at best 10% and it's simply not worth spending millions to drill. Which is why the government is offering $200 million of taxpayers' money as an incentive. F*ckng madness

National Act & NZF have declared war on social cohesion, women, the unemployed, school children, doctors, teachers, nurses, emergency services, regional councils, admin staff supporting Police (& anyone in public services), homeless people, cyclists, pedestrians, small businesses, researchers...etc.
