This is even better, and I'd 100% forgotten in the intervening years - there was a companion Pyro-inspired Prime. Looks like I originally had a G2 insignia on the chest and a "Forestoninte Fuel Only" tampo that I was asked to remove.

I don't know that it provides an interesting backstory to this guy, but I did the deco as a freelancer so long ago I had to look it up if I was remembering correctly. Originally, I submitted it with BW pred logos on the chest, and was asked to change it. I guess it was originally a Costco item?
