I agree with you on this! I actually commented that this is very far from being my favourite of theirs. all the other singles from the Friends album (and mind you, they were all UK hits too!) were better - not to mention so many of their previous hits.

(and, because it seems I can’t be sure about anything (or anyone’s knowledgeability) anymore, I mentioned those three names because they were the actual members of Shalamar, two of which would go on to have solo singing careers with wildly varying success - JD was a dancer first and foremost)
