I bailed on Lonesome Dove for the time being. It's just not the right time in my life to listen to that one.

I was captivated by Gareth Brown's 1st book, The Book of Doors, and I had big expectations for his next. The Society of Unknowable Objects continued the great storytelling of magic with clever twists that kept me needing to know what next. Sinister baddies and great narration. Looking forward to #3.

I adored Greenteeth. A witch is bound and thrown into a lake, and if that isn't bad enough, the lake is inhabited by a toothy swamp monster looking for her next meal. Thus begins a great battle of good and evil and sorting out the in between. This is a charming story with excellent narration.

I loved The Lantern of Lost Memories. If you came to the end of your life and had to choose a memory from each year you lived since birth to create your story, which would you choose?
The book follows three people through their favorite memories.
The narrator is excellent.
