Don’t mind me, just shouting into the void as I flesh out my D&D campaign.

At 6, the Wizard will read about a “diamond box” holding the secrets of the ages. The Warlock will be sent after Vulcan’s Hammer, and eventually find out it is in Dora’s Repository. The Vault of Pandora, the Diamond Box, and Dora’s Repository are again all the same thing.

At 6, the Bard will be assigned a Practicum to defeat “Zeladorin the Shattered” a Crystal dragon digging under the Spine of the World. Also at 6, the Sorcerer will receive another letter from his ancestor stating he has less than five years to stop Getharynsollastra from opening the Vault of Pandora

At 3rd level, my Clockwork Soul sorcerer received a letter from an ancestor born on Mechanus and the origin of the line of sorcerers. My Diviner wizard was bequeathed a family heirloom, the Doctrinae Ordo ad Fatum Caecandum, which according to her uncle holds many secrets.

Is it weird that I hated having to go to a “Trainer” at level up in WoW to gain new abilities, but I love writing in story reasons for my characters to gain subclass abilities in D&D?

Here I thought going to my 20 year class reunion was a waste of time, but not only did it teach me to never attend another class reunion, but a social interaction that rubbed me the wrong way is now going to be a plot device in my new D&D campaign!

So, hear me out. If the CEO shooter is identified before the actual presidential election, we start a campaign for enough “faithless” electors to give him the job instead.

In terms of Falcon and Winter Soldier, I remember it being a story that came off as a set up for several other stories, rather than a tale told for its own sake. Let’s see if a rewatch for Fixing Phase Four changes my mind.

So, first installment of Fixing Phase Four: WandaVision. Honestly? No notes. They weren’t specifically adapting any specific story, but borrowed from several. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well, one note to Mr Bettany. . . one I’m sure he’s heard repeatedly. . . actually, I’ll leave it alone.

All that being said, I think tomorrow I’ll start a project I was thinking about doing on the other place called “Fixing Phase Four.” Because, let’s be honest, after End Game they largely rested on their laurels, and ignored everything that led up to that point.

Should also say, I view the MCU in and of itself as one, long-running series. So while I’ll agree that the longer it goes on, the bigger “barrier to entry” it has; but on the other hand, would you complain about having to watch the previous 19 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy before starting season 20?

Should also note, despite Green Lantern being my favorite superhero since 3rd grade; I’m a big Marvel nerd. In fact, I’d say I’m who the MCU was made for. Between growing up with the interconnected TGIF programs followed by the equally interconnected KidsWB Saturday morning cartoons, I was hooked

Currently two sessions in to a campaign centered around the complications of Researching, Crafting, and Selling Magical Items in the attempt to make the consequences more than “oh no, I wasted my downtime days. Darn.”

So, while as a single, estranged-from-their-family, neurodivergent, bi-polar gay man, I often get drawn into political discussions, I’d much rather talk D&D!
Recently finished up a 2+ year campaign centered on the mythical First World, very dragon-centric that eventually pivoted to Spelljamming
