Our new report has just exposed a massive pipeline of military aircraft parts and explosives flowing from Canada to Israel via the U.S., facilitated by a deadly loophole in Canadian law.

The latest CBC report shows why Canada urgently needs tighter oversight on military exports. When Canadian components can end up in airstrikes abroad, we have a responsibility to act.
That’s why I introduced Bill C-233 to strengthen export-control accountability.

The turmoil on BC’s right shows how first past the post traps different voices in one party just to stay competitive.

Proportional representation would let every part of the political spectrum stand on its own and be represented fairly.

Reform UK could win a majority government with only 30 percent of the vote.

That is how distorted UK democracy has become under first past the post. Canada should take note.

Proportional representation means real majority rule. It is time to demand change

Doug Ford’s donors give millions. Doug Ford’s friends get millions. All while his party wins “majorities” with only 40% of the vote.

When power is handed to a minority, accountability disappears.

It is time for proportional representation in Ontario.

Instead of an austerity budget, we should be creating good jobs in science, research, green energy, and capitalizing on the areas the US is failing to invest in. And we should be putting tax dollars into public housing, education, and healthcare where it is desperately needed.
Imagine if Canada was investing in research and universities, instead of burning everything down.
A poll from the journal Nature found that 75% of researchers in the U.S. are considering leaving the country. That includes a man who’s been dubbed the "Mozart of Math." (This PBS story on the scientific brain drain is heartbreaking & ominous for medicine, imo.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLvO...
