Technology's purpose to is eliminate the mundane so humans can focus on more human tasks vs. rote repetition - if AI can help expand automation by recognizing repeatable processes and creating verifiable output to test it, I'm all for it. It shouldn't be used to "give me a picture of a bird flying"

If used properly it gives QA the chance to be creative and play around while AI tests the boilerplate "1 == 1" scenarios, giving more opportunity for exploratory and monkey testing and writing test code

It only works if the rest of your requirements are laid out explicitly - if the jira tickets contain all the requirements for a feature, and all these feature tickets roll into the same epic, it's pretty easy for AI to parse out what needs to be tested and how to test it...
