Elon told America again and again that he’d be in DC working on DOGE through July _2026_. Then suddenly—in February or March—a totally new narrative emerged: DOGE had been told that its work needed to be done by May _2025_. As though the situation in DC this summer wouldn’t be conducive to DOGE ops.
