I live and work in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. I'm a small but full-time Beekeeper, producing a range of fine local honey and promoting best beekeeping practices
Saw it on BBC news this morning, absolutely awful, I'm so sorry

The entire plant is edible and has medicinal properties. It makes lovely honey as well

Yes a very beautiful moment, bittersweet as well as she blissfully, too young to fully understand what is happening in her country or to have ever known peace

The far right have always been there in various guises for as long as I can remember. The problem is that there is ever growing inequality in the west. This is dangerous. People look for quick solutions to what they are told their problems are, the far right capitalise on this and gain power

I live in Scotland, I have a lovely American family who are customers of mine. I'm too polite to say what they think of Trump and Co.
They have absolutely no intention of going to the USA in the foreseeable future, members of their family want to come here to live as well. Sad state of affairs

They showed it in our local cinema on a golden oldie night a couple of years back. I think that it's about the only night that I've seen it packed out, lots people dressed the part as well. So yeah, safe to say lots of people still love this brilliant film

I would hope not

This amounts to pacification, history shows that pacification doesn't work when dealing with aggressive dictators. The UK and our allies made that mistake in the 1930s and look where that took us

This "deal" makes me feel physically sick.
I am 100% behind the support given to Ukraine, wish it was a lot more.
I can't believe that the so called leader of the free world is willing to throw a couragous country fighting for their existence to the wolves in his desire for a Nobel peace prize

Stay safe

We are very much looking forward to seeing you at the Music Hall in Aberdeen later in the year

Absolutely, a big part of the problem now is that there are some absolute masters of this type of manipulation sitting in high office and others seeking high office. I fear that this has the potential to take us to places out of the living memories of most people

It's good to see the figures laid out in simple terms. Unfortunately, this doesn't align with the narrative or agenda of an ever increasing number of people getting caught up in the growing tsunami of discontent in this country, so they will simply ignore the facts

This is just a follow-up from my reply to your post yesterday. This is what the BBC is covering this morning despite the drones entering Polish air space last night

I can imagine how you can feel like most of the world feels indifferent to the daily suffering of Ukraine, particularly with the recent significant increase in the ferocity and frequency of attacks.
I can assure you that here in the UK, that is not the case. People really do care

I've liked your post out of respect for those killed and injured. A very dark week indeed

I see that the Russian ambassador has been summoned to attend the UK foreign office over the latest attacks.
My guess is that he will make some pathetic excuse about not deliberately targeting civilians and that military establishments were targeted.
Usual lies, and they expect us to believe it

I don't know how to send it to you, but it has been well covered here in the UK by the BBC. You are not forgotten in this country for sure
June 17, 2025 at 5:17 PM
It was mentioned here in the UK. I'm not sure that was the exact figure, but it was certainly well into the four hundreds. It was further reported that it was the most of the war to date
June 9, 2025 at 2:55 PM
I sincerely hope that lasting and genuine peace comes to your country and your people soon

I'm very lucky to see lots of different birds when I'm out and about beekeeping. I'm doubley lucky to have a large wooded area to the rear of my house, and at this time of the year, the dawn chorus is absolutely awesome. Great way to start the day

There is too much attention on Trump. What he is doing is certainly newsworthy, but he's being given way too much personal coverage, which just serves his ultra ego, at the expense of other important issues
April 9, 2025 at 12:56 PM
I've not heard anything about this on mainstream news, only what's on social media.
If it's true, there are obviously questions to be asked.
Were they there officially?
If so, why?
And why was this not picked up by intelligence services?
Are they mercenaries?
Just a few that spring to mind
