How does the separation of church and state work if religion can impose its supposed doctrines on the state? Exemptions to vaccines for “religious reasons” was always a sham—loopholes that force government to comply with whacko theories under the guise of theology.

These actions are unconstitutional precisely because they ARE agents of the government—masked, threatening, violent. This is secret police bullshit that is unAmerican. We don’t need to fear human traffickers. We fear ICE. When does the Supreme Court walk back the permission they gave for a Gestapo?

Thanks for putting it like this. I bristle at the framing of people or issues as “left” or “right.” It’s dismissive and simplistic. It ends any meaningful discussion or critical thinking.

The Catholic League? Is this a real organization splitting hairs over the definition of pedophelia? I don’t know any Catholics that aren’t disgusted by the church’s abuse and protection of priests. I know a man molested by a priest at 15. At that age, you assume it’s your fault & don’t tell anyone
