Sixth SM rehash of cuddly, yet irritating, non-alcoholic but award-winning radio producer/journo/presenter, VO and sports junkie - part-Welsh, part-Granadalander. Still to be taken. Views wholly owned.

The only possible way you’d get me to watch Celebrity Don’t Get Murdered is if it meant a revival of Honest Obituary.

Which it can’t. Bugger.

I wish there had been a Father Ted spin-off called Romancing Father Stone.

Enjoyed this absolutely filthy joke from The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Yes, I know you said it ‘ended’ when they dropped the frontcaps 10 years earlier but…

I think Brian might be actually be in the main studio set following the (live?) Close Up North.

Note the camera slowly panning downwards.

By the sounds of it, he’s back at the self-op desk just after the national summary.

On this day in 1997 the BBC One balloon idents launched. I remember being wowed by them at a pre-launch screening and then loved talking over them on the telly. Some years later this happened, but I can’t remember why.

David Hughes now officially has a worse managerial record at Newport County than Terry Butcher.

Though I sympathise with fans who point the finger squarely at Huw Jenkins.
