I love that folks are stoked on FREE PLANET vol 1, in comic shops Nov 26, BUT:

FREE PLANET was designed as a periodical, w/ detailed spreads, rotating pages, and single issue-exclusive in-world letters pages plus the not-included-in-the-TPB issues #7-8.

SUBSCRIBE TO THE SINGLE ISSUES ASAP!

I can't wait for the TPB of this. It looks great!

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS.

Do not miss the final issue of the geopolitical space opera‘s inaugural arc; Free Planet #6 is the biggest, most explosive, dramatic and sexiest issue yet and it’s in comic shops NOW.

Safe travels to everyone attending New York Comic Con! Have a great and successful show!

You are the PERFECT artist for these comics, plus I know you have a love for the content. I myself was just telling someone that I don't even like to look up at the night sky because I'm exactly the kind of person who would see something I couldn't explain :P

If you did Blue Book from Dark Horse Comics, Red Book is the Russian side of the coin with unexplained possibly cosmic occurrences from there starting with Tunguska. Super creepy back up stories continue. Its still @jamesthefourth.bsky.social & @oeming.bsky.social too!

I know a lot of people are waiting for this one. I was not into or up for Age of Revelation, BUT elements of World of Revelation and Amazing X-men specifically of the offerings this week got my foot in the door of the idea. The set up is interesting. We've seen this before, but also haven't.

Strange Tales is a Scarlet Witch mini series where she teams up with Nico Minoru to save Karolina, Billy, and Teddy from an RPG that pulls them all into a dark fantasy world. If you keep up with Wanda, you're on this four parter!

Temporal #1 was a fun read. The two most successful time traveling thieves have settled down in their present day future, but the desire to get something very cool and genuine for their son reactivates that thirst for action. Should be simple enough, but it probably won't be!

The Starbreaker Supremacy in Green Lantern & Green Lantern Corps was quietly up there in the company of other modern GL epics. Not nearly as many eyes were on it, but I think this will do well in graphic novel. It wrapped in GLC 9 this week if you only had half the chapters.

Had a lot of super last minute requests for Marian Heretic #1 which exhausted its print run at Boom Studios a couple days ago. This is Tini Howard putting her love of Castlevania and Bayonetta into the world of a powerful new character, Marian, whose loyalty to the church is about to be tested!

Amazing Spider-man Torn turns back the clock to an untold tale from Peter Parker's college days where I think JMS has wanted to tell stories. Harry, Gwen, & others are there as Peter tries to manage classes & operating as Spider-man. Classic bad guys are there, but we do get an interesting new one.

Issue 13 reminds that Absolute Batman is so new that we're still learning what kind of person Bruce is. The last several issues have struck fear into him, but he is using that to become more determined. The powers-that-be may have made their problem worse. Should company man Bane be a bit concerned?

Like, they didn't have to go this hard, right? XD What should have been 'we're doing Mortal Kombat now' turned into a fascinating study on good and evil, a hero's inherent nature and the inevitability of time.

DC K.O. is not a side deal detour or unplanned time killer distraction. It is the next chapter in the All In Saga of the DC Universe. JLU & Superman readers want in on this. There's one way to save or subjugate the DCU, but only one can get to it & time is short. Who will be King Omega?

Its a teen+ labeled comic, but the preview in the back after the story ends has full on mature language. I'm just not sure about that placement. The rating doesn't account for the tacked on preview content so a parent won't have reason to anticipate that. And a retailer may not know its there.

Imperial War Imperial Guardians One Shot is required reading in the best way. A major figure from one of the biggest Marvel events of the modern era may have returned to destabilize the galaxy & Gamora, Captain Marvel, & Darkhawk investigate. Its funny at times, but important. So much Darkhawk too!

I read Transformers 25 ahead of making our purchase orders (so helpful!) & while I am sad to see DWJ & Corona go, Kirkman knew just the right things to do. It immediately follows 24 & is a "what happened/who's here/what do we do" story. Mora's art is in a new lane too! Buy with all confidence!

The same promos can't run in all comics. If you have a mature readers comic, run a mature readers preview. If you have a teen comic, run a promo for another teen comic. If the book is all ages, showcase the other all ages comics available. Someone, in theory, selects & arranges these things right?

Meanwhile! This is an incredible, something exciting for everyone, kind of week! The kind of week that gets people out of their routines and into the comic shop. With the kind of comics you read in the car because you can’t wait! Some of you know exactly what I mean.

I wonder if the comics industry is releasing material faster than even the most interested fans can consume in a week or even a month. I mean good quality, exciting material too. Work is most of the waking day. Time for reading, watching, listening, gaming is narrow. Find the time when you can.
