This might be something someone running for governor of Virginia, who is an alumna of The University, should say something about

For example, the Trump administration worked with Gov Youngkin's appointees to force out the popular UVA President. Otherwise, a DOJ investigation would have followed and hundreds of millions in resources endangered. Now it will offer UVA more money to work with Trump

A series of attempts by Trump’s DOJ to access voter info is prompting increasing alarm from election administrators, who warn that the federal gov't may be laying the groundwork to try to strongarm states over how they conduct their elections.

It’s both depressing and darkly hilarious how Lawfare posting has gone from “we got him on an Article 33, Clause 8, Subsection Alpha infraction, baby cannon time!” to *slams whisky bottle down* “the law is fake and I challenge John Roberts to a fistfight at the Walmart parking lot.”

I worked in the East European democracy movements that brought down the Berlin Wall & the dictatorial regimes of the Soviet bloc. We can thank George Soros for that. His support for freedom was a constant source of solidarity

Note the "Convention of States" movement cited in the article is a right wing ploy--brought to you by the same wealthy donors and ideological extremists that created project 2025. They are hell bent on taking away your freedom. More here: thehill.com/opinion/camp...

Trump's scam of inventing "mortgage fraud" charges against his foes is failing. So he's set to fire a top prosecutor who is failing to bring charges, ABC reports.

Failing to bring corrupt prosecutions is now a firing offense. This is profound misconduct.

A U.S. attorney in Virginia is finding no evidence that Letitia James broke the law. In America, that’s justice. In Trumpworld, it’s a firing offense.
