Congrats to "Paris Golden Hands," "Detail Sohn," and "O Dolce Vita" advanced to the final stage!
Based on the trailer, the finalists are only allowed to use the sponsor's K-beauty product. I think this setup may give "Detail Sohn," who works at a beauty salon, a slight advantage.

I'm surprised "First Man" didn't advance to the final.
He values the art more than the model's comfort, so I'm not a fan. But he consistently delivered high-quality work, combining creativity and technique, throughout the competitions.
I felt his stamina was affected in the last round.

Conclusion: I plan to keep the K3 cause I reclaimed precious desk space, as I don't need a wrist rest when working with a low-profile keyboard!
To avoid wasting the potential of K3 Max, I will explore other functions later.

Things that don't bother me (yet), but are worth mentioning:
K3 has a non-backlight shine-through keycap. Thus, the backlight doesn't help me to see the keys much in the dark.
Also, low-profile mechanical keyboards typically have fewer options for keycaps and switches.

The typing sounds are drastically different: K3 sounds duller to me.
K3 has QMK function for key remapping, but cannot mimic the Apple globe key. It is sad that I can no longer switch input languages with a single key.

Thoughts on K3 Max, brown switch
Even though both K2 and K3 have brown switches, they feel quite different when typing. Maybe because of the longer travel distances? I have to press harder when typing and get more feedback.

Why get a new keyboard?
I have to use a wrist rest when using a standard profile keyboard. Maybe I don't need one with a low-profile keyboard, and I can reclaim some precious desk space! Since my K2 battery is dead, I have a perfect excuse to try a low-profile keyboard.

Sorry for your loss. You and family members who pursued healthcare have shown how his memory will live on through the lives he touched ❤️

Perfect opportunity for the kids to learn that animals with horns could be dangerous and you'd better run when they are charging at you, unicorn included. It's not all rainbow, sparkle, and magical 😜

Based on the challenges and judging criteria, skills and creativity are the two most important factors. I think makeup artists of brands or freelancers are likely to win in the end.

Makeup artists of brands or freelancers with experience working on cover shoots, fashion shows, or brand events seem to be more creative and versatile. They are not confined to the idea of beauty but focus on the ideas they want to present or how to complement the collaborators' ideas.

Their makeup might not be as detailed, which I suspected wouldn't be obvious when showing online.
Their strength is more in creativity and catching attention.
The same goes for the drag queens, who are, firstly and mostly, performers themselves instead of makeup artists.

Online beauty creators/influencers mostly put makeup on themselves; many were self-taught in the craft, and mostly showed their makeup in their studio. So most of them are not used to putting makeup on models, have a basic idea, but without a professional workflow.

In my opinion, the makeup artists who work with idols have more chances to progress in the competition since they might have more opportunities to be creative than those who work in a salon specializing in bridal makeup.

The makeup artists from beauty salons are more comfortable making the models fit into the Korean beauty standard, and they are great at this, it's their bread and butter. And due to the beauty standard, their color palettes are not that vibrant and less creative.
