When you think about it, it’s quite on brand for the GOP to seek to protect alleged pedophiles among them by preventing the truth from ever seeing the light of day.

Trump has not even been sworn in, and already his new bestie Musk is threatening people who cross him.

After the cold war, some people naively thought Russia would become more like the US.
Now, the US is becoming more like Russia.

The kakistocratic rule of the billionaire oligarchs is underway.
US Senators have called for a probe into Musk's contact with Russia, and Musk responded by saying that he's "going to find out who's making these accusations and nuke them.”

That’s a big problem when you don’t have a Justice Department.

Picked up some peonies at Harvest Market in Launceston yesterday, and supplemented them in the too-big vase with roses from my garden. I lack my mother’s flower-arranging skills, but I don’t mind the wildness, really. #flowers

You know when you cook potatoes and they’re cooked through properly but still firm?

I don’t like to brag, but, they were juuuust right.

There are simple pleasures they can’t take away from us.

Unless they take away the potatoes.
