As Brian said, the #Habs don’t need to lead the division all season. That’s not where they are in the rebuild. They need to continue growing and just stay in the mix until healthy again or reinforcements come.

I heard someone say the bottom six needs an identity. Hard to do when the players are playing musical chairs. #Habs

The #Habs bottom six is a little rough at the moment. Gally is on the struggle bus. Veleno is not stepping up. Roy is probably not an NHLer. Davidson works his ass off but may never be a regular roster guy. That’s too thin in the effective department.

Hutson looked great last night after seeming off for a few. #Habs

Kapanen is racking up goals. You know why? He seems to know where the net is and heads there. The rebounds, the redirects, the tap-ins on a great pass, he’s there for them all because he heads toward the net. The #Habs don’t have enough of that.

I thought Slaf had a fantastic game. That tying goal should have been credited to him for sure. Add it to the list of plays he makes possible but doesn’t get a point on. #Habs

I saw it like Brian did. Slafkovsky on the Kapanen and Demidov line was great. Bolduc on the Suzuki and Caufield line was not. It might be sensible to give them a few games before handing verdicts, but that was the deal last night. #Habs

I though Slaf was very good last night.

That’s the point. With more talent added, they shouldn’t be limited to one feature.
