I’m not as bullish on Guhle has most fans and pundits seem to be. I’ve said before I would package him for a C. But that’s blasphemy in Habsland.

About that 2C issue. My expectation is that just like we saw Hughes go get Carrier last year to replace Barron, someone will be dealt in a package to obtain a 2C. Guys will be available before Christmas.

I thought Hutson looked like he was trying to do too much last night. The thing about him is that he rarely has two iffy games in a row. He’ll be better tonight. I don’t love him with Guhle yet. #Habs

Noah Dobson looked great last night. And Matheson looked great beside him. It’s one game, but if they continue to work so well together, it will be tough for the #Habs to move on from the veteran.

A solid game from the Canadiens even in defeat. Many players showed promise, but one issue was clear.

I think we’ll see a lot of options. But they won’t be in any rush to switch up a line that has been successful. They need two strong lines.
