I’d love to see Engstrom get a look with Hutson.
Adam Engström, after his five-point performance in Laval’s 7-2 win over Belleville, called himself lucky.

When told this, his coach Pascal Vincent was dumbfounded. “Who did?,” he asked. “Engström?”

“He’s being dominant out there,” he said. “So I don’t agree with him. He’s not lucky. He’s good.”
Rocket vs. Senators: Adam Engström dominant in statement game
In the locker room after the Laval Rocket’s 7-2 win over the Belleville Senators on Saturday at Place Bell, Adam Engström was talking about his career-high five-point performance, with one goal and…

Evening commute after a long day at the office. Here’s a beautifully optimistic Call of the Wilde from @bwildemtl.bsky.social and a few quick thoughts from me.
Lori Answers the ☎️ #Habs 🧵
Strong recovery to get a point in Columbus by the Canadiens led by a trio change that sparked excellence.

And as usual a plea for patience when the roster isn’t what it could be in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

Not everyone can be a gem, and this one surely wasn’t.

The Canadiens do have some underlying issues but I think we know the big one at the moment.

Also some positives in the Wilde Cards in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

Call of the Wilde: Montreal Canadiens pummelled by Los Angeles Kings 5-1 - Montreal | Globalnews.ca
Apart from a laser beam from Josh Anderson into the top corner in the first period, little was impressive from the Canadiens in this one. Brian Wilde has more.

The Canadiens used to be the team where if one thing went wrong, they would likely lose the game.

Now they’re the team that turns a 3-0 deficit into a 4-3 lead in one period.

Confidence. Skill. No panic.
