A little early winter grooming. This time of year I leave the main coat and just trim her legs, feet, butt, underside, and face. This is probably groom 13 now? Something like that? Getting a bit better at it.

Saw someone post this earlier... Not sure what other folk's experience is, but I was single for many years, did a ton of dating. And the women I was around very much did not tend to affirmatively voice this sort of thing. (Though I would have much preferred they had)

In tonight's edition of "fucking around with speakers":
These speakers are bottom-ported, and the carpet is kinda shaggy, so I've tried putting some kinda heavy rubber bases underneath to see if the extra breathing room improves bass response.
And, pleased to say this one seems to have worked. 👍

Pretty nice to still be picking bowls of raspberries in early October. The Anne yellow ones are particularly nice this time of year.

I have now officially grown, harvested, and eaten pawpaw in my yard. I also collected the seeds, and will likely plant them in the Spring. Fuck yeah. (And they were good, if just a touch over-ripe)

Plucked the first ever pears from the yard today. The first one was delicious. Definitely looking forward to a lot more of these in the future. 🌱

The stinky beast was finally let into my office today, for the first time in a week, since the smell of her has subsided quite a bit. I think she is happy to get some of her usual routine back, as she promptly fell asleep.
