some say god made the devil bc you cant appreciate good w/o evil. but god does plenty of evil on his own.
i think he just wanted someone else to share blame with, like a scapegoat of sorts. Afterall, the devil couldn't do anything bad if not for god permitting it.

Is there such thing as a faithful Christian that is still a good person? It often feels like being good, and being faithful, are mutually exclusive endeavors. There's too many good deeds that scripture opposes, and too many statues in scripture are just cruel.
