Refreshing to see a Dem besides AOC, Crocket & Bernie show up with a backbone for a change. I hope Sen. Bennet continues to lead the charge.

I’m glad to see my Senator finally showing up with a backbone the last couple of days.

We expect that from conservatives. What troubles me more is the considerable number of Democrats in power who do the exact same thing. I’ve never been a “both sides are bad” person however I’m so very sick of the lack of leadership in my party.

As the mom of a transmasc son, I stand in solidarity with you, also heartbroken, and ready to fight back.

I think this is sound advice regardless of whether your state is red or blue. When the shit really hits the fan, it’s going to be hard to know where loyalties lie. My Dem governor seems to be waffling lately 🙄

Thanks for your comment. It’s easy to feel angry, cynical and hopeless (I do a lot) after all that we’ve been through. But to publicly admit you’re wrong or uninformed is not easy. I think we as progressives underestimate just how siloed information can be. Anyway, I hope this guy is enlightened.

And make sure everyone understands Pettersen is “not voting” because Speaker Johnson refuses to allow proxy voting for the very pregnant Congresswoman, because it’s “unconstitutional.”

Thanks for re-sharing. It seems that treating the oligarchy as farcical serves a dual purpose as well. I recall (happily) how ‘Ginger’ reacted to being ridiculed during the campaign. Seems that ‘Gilligan’ doesn’t care for it much either. It’s a brilliant way of taking away power.

And some of them won’t accept the results even when they DO win 🙄
On opening day of Colorado’s legislative session, some Republicans refuse to approve 2024 election results
Reps. Ken DeGraaf and Scott Bottoms, both of Colorado Springs, led the push to question election results, echoing the Republican election denial movement that began in 2020
