Highly recommend reading Qasim’s Substack on this one, and watching the imbedded video of Carter explaining why American leaders do not call out Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. So enlightening. And a reminder of what Christianity used to embody. President Carter will be greatly missed.

He prevented a nuclear meltdown, did legendary work with Habitat for Humanity, & won the Nobel Peace Prize. But I want to focus on one critical human rights issue that corporate media will likely ignore—his stance on Israel & Palestine.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a time when lift tickets weren’t as much as a car payment. I learned to ski at Conquistador in Westcliffe with a pony lift. Cuchara is giving 80s vibes. Ski Bus is rad!
