Yes we have problems and challenges. But Britain is a great country. Don’t buy the populist Reform line that Britain is broken. They talk the country down because they want you to turn to them in desperation. Don’t buy it.

If the Conservative party were in government and if Farage was genuinely in reach of Downing Street then this would all be significant.
