The use of light/dark to emphasise/hide areas of a horse's body in chiaroscuro photography is simply stunning.
Here's my practice piece, painted digitally. There's something satisfying about holding back on the detail & letting the blank spaces fill in the gaps.

The use of light/dark to emphasise/hide areas of a horse's body in chiaroscuro photography is simply stunning.

Berries are vital for waxwings during winter, as they migrate westwards from Scandinavia in search of them. They typically eat 800-1000 berries a day, twice their body weight!
