Puddings at the White Hart, Fyfield: pistacchio soufflé with rose custard and a sorbet, and apple mousse with apple sauce and ice cream. Outstanding flavours.

You always hoped that the Mitchell and Webb sketch about Nazis suddenly working out they're the bad guys would remain just a joke. It also includes the line: 'It doesn't say next to the skull, "You know, yeah, we killed him, but trust us, this guy was horrid".'

My little old guy has been unwell, now recovering in animal hospital from pancreatitis. We think he's coming home tomorrow or maybe #caturday. Can't wait to have him back.

I can't think of Christopher Bigggins without thinking of Emperor Nero. Is that significant?

Christmas has started. Resting on the sofa with a glass of fizz, and my boys (grown-ups but still my boys) are home and cooking supper for us.

Ww have an example of this in Oxford today. Fewer than 15 far right people on a pathetic march compared to 150 anti-racist counter-demonstrators. And what does our local paper do? This biased reporting focused on one of the far right. 1/2

Cat really doesn't like Christmas. Not only do we have the prospect of a giant greyhound grand-dog coming to stay, but there's all this ruddy post needs guarding. #Caturday

Sad to see someone has painted over the last remaining half of this wonderful piece of #GraffitiArt satire on Thames Water.

On 20 Dec the far right in Oxford, the ones who keep protesting at the hotel where asylum seekers live, are marching from Morrell Ave to Bonn Sq. They have had to invite non-local groups to swell numbers. If you'd like to join a counter demo, we'll be assembling in Bonn Sq from noon. Please share.
