I always loved stories told through letters, notes, and that "codex" feel to it! I should work on it again, someday...

The premise of this story (as I remember it) was a detective illustrated novel set in a steampunk world. Vélina is a prostitute whose brothel burnt down in an incident. Lucian is a journalist, looking for the culprit of this series of arson in town.
