Glorious day out with the Tree Musketeers watering and mulching the newly planted woodland in the cricket field in Millfields Park. The trees are looking amazing: all starting to bud and leaf despite the very dry conditions.

We’re back in Millfields Cricketfield tomorrow & Sat planting native whips to extend the woodland strip. It’s going to look amazing but it’ll also screen out the view, noise & pollution of the traffic and create new habitat. Join us if you can. @hackneycouncil.bsky.social @tmhackney.bsky.social

Wonderful night at the Tree Circle Cinema with dance sessions for families, a family film, Robot Dreams, and a serious film about the fight against Monsanto and the efforts of communities around the world to save our seeds. Brilliant. And it didn’t rain!!
