I’ve become more conservative in my feelings about the need to protect institutions and the rule of law. Not that I didn’t believe it before but I think I took it more for granted.

Not a fan of Reagan. But the idea that Reagan - Reagan! - would have been pro tariff is one of the most Orwellian memory-holing moves this administration has pulled yet. And that’s saying a lot.
