First ski day officially on the books! High risk-high reward: a lot of driving when coupled with yesterday’s hime, but this was my first time on skis before Thanksgiving EVER. It was a rocky one but we had a blast!

That’s a wrap on the Glastenbury Residency. On our last lap today, we ended up turning around at the top of Maple Hill, mile 2.0. The decision was a mix of tough conditions and Wylie being somewhat under the weather. Last week was our last summit, we just didnt know it yet.

Just secured one of very few available spots for the 2026 Little Su 50k. The 2024 race worked perfectly as a shakeout ski 7 days before the #ITIalaska start. The course shares some trail with ITI; good for current conditions scouting.

Glastenbury Lap 2: An excellent lap this weekend with cooler crisp temps. The dogs did amazing, and loved their people-food diet since I FORGOT DOG FOOD?! Thankfully they accepted the tuna, beef jerkey and peanut butter and didn’t cancel me over my mistake.
