I've heard that in some wacko alt-medicine circles it had long (i.e. before covid) been thought that parasites caused most illnesses, so they already considered dewormers a cure-all. In the chaos of the pandemic that idea got sucked into the anti-science anti-vax desperation for a covid cure.

Fuel economy standards are baked in to car manufacturing. Even if manufacturers decided to get rid of them (retooling some lines just for the US market), it would be several years before those models were available. Not going to help short-term "affordability."

The PPE supply in the provincial stock pile should rotate into the hospital, clinics and nursing home supply chain so it gets used up.
Discarding $1.4 billion worth of supplies paid for with tax payers’ hard earned money is disgraceful.

Um, maybe there's something I'm missing here, but when someone uses food stamps doesn't the government give money to the grocery store as reimbursement for the groceries that person bought? So Mr Scott understands neither how food stamps work nor how health insurance works?
