I am a feminist psychotherapist who works with clients to achieve healthy, mutual relationships.
We have two incredible union leaders right now-Sara Nelson and Randi Weingarten.

That is exactly what I was thinking-the silk stocking workers had a lot of integrity. They began educating workers on the role of race in exploitation. When women run unions there seems to be less corruption and the history of women’s unions is ignored.

I appreciate all the call outs on this thread regarding MAGA racism. Please do not forget that male supremacy is the other key pillar of fascism. Gender inequality is normalized when men refuse to do an equal share of domestic labor. Most men are very comfortable with this prejudice.

They will get another drubbing in 2026.

Many Dems do not act because they do not have the moral high ground. We need to admit past mistakes to gain trust. We have a no-accountability culture-especially for men. Obama’s 563 drone strikes must never be spoken of. Anita Hill was thrown under the bus by Biden. Change begins at home.

Mothers are spending more time parenting than ever before. Men are doing the same amount of domestic labor as they did in the 1980s and it does not increase when children arrive. Look at Corrine Lows research comparing heterosexual and gay couples. We could invest in quality daycare.

Many stay at home dads do less domestic labor than their spouses who also do paid work.

It was never in my budget. Some of this is regional. California is the home of new treatment-often little research backing it up. DC and NY-psychodynamic central. Personally, I love an ROI. It’s too bad there is zero oversight.

Psychodynamic therapy claims to be the slow movement of therapy but we do not know if it delivers. People pay for psychotherapy to change their lives and psychodynamic treatment does not have clear, evidenced-based results.

Critical thinking is different from problem solving because there is no set outcome. I would love academia to be somewhat protected from the market because this will lead to more problem solving for profit and less critical thinking. I wanted to add that psychotherapy teaches critical thinking.

Oh interesting. There are still quite a few other candidates.

There other candidates running besides Platner. Boosting him over Jordan Woods-why?

This is a slap in his ego. The grift really need addressing. He is on track to bring in $7 billion for his family during this presidency given what he scammed this year.
