He is getting momentum off a particular flavor of masculinity. He may be a good candidate but I don’t think that is Liz’s point-but I may have it wrong. The point (I think) is how anyone performs their gender shouldn’t have bearing on whether or not they are a good candidate. Unfortunately it does.

Women are the backbone of this resistance. We showed up for Me Too, Code Pink, the Women’s March, reproductive rights, BLM and for Fire Drill Fridays so we are ready for this. We know this is white and male supremacist backlash politics and if we do not stand together it will keep happening.

It’s the beginning of change. Many of us who vote Dem do not call ourselves liberals but progressives because we want change for everyone not “our share of the pie”. White liberal feminism betrayed Black and working class women and is now a term few would want to associate themselves with.

Turning Point has been so effective that the 30% that is Christian Nationalist will not budge. The other 20% favors domination politics-white or male supremacy but is now feeling economic heat. We need new young non-voters to participate and attract them with partnership politics.
