In the episode, Sakiko says their relationship is nobody's business but their own. Sakiko as a whole is a character who's never let us in on her inner thoughts--she instead shows us with her actions. While we don't know what exactly she was thinking, we don't need to. Her actions say it all :)

after what happened with Mutsumi, Sakiko thought that she "broke her" and refused to come back to Ave Mujica because it would break her, she thought that she is a monster and she's the one to blame. when Mutsumi disappeared there was nothing else that Sakiko could do to make up for what she did
