And I wonder if that includes coders - people providers hire solely to work with the insurance companies to try to facilitate payments. When I left private practice, our group of 11 physicians and 5 mid level providers had 5 coders.

We don't need subsidized insurance. We need nationalized health care. There are so many more ways to make money without profiteering off individual health care, even within healthcare itself!

Look pass for a minute what the politicians are doing and just look at those premiums. We are talking 30-50k yearly for health insurance. That's just abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous that this is allowed in our country.

If it's a secure site, believe me, it is quite secure. Most offices and hospitals allow you to log in and enter info now. But anything is hackable/breachable. In private practice, we actually had insurance for that. A hospital system on the west coast was actually blackmailed by hackers.

That I can agree with. Depends on the situation. If you are getting online medical care, the provider would need to know your history in detail. As a retired MD, I am not a proponent of that, but the world is a-changing.

She would have been excellent. Throwing Garland a bone IMO was the biggest mistake of Biden's presidency. If Garland had done his job, Trump would not be president right now.

You can give out your own personal information. HIPPA basically states OTHERS can't give out your personal information without your consent. I could put my own health info on a billboard or shout it from the rooftops.
