The older I get, and specifically the older some of my friends get, I see a condition I call "slow progressivism" set in where it takes some people a little longer to come around to new ideas than in their youth. It's different than regular "old person brain" which will never adjust.

When "progressive" white men reach 60 they should be assigned a keeper that stops them every time they are about to say something and asks "are you sure you want to say that?"

I hate this concept:

Everytime my kids start a sentence with "I wish..." I sing this song in its entirety and they still have no idea what I'm talking about.
