i'm pretty happy to finally be working on midnight killers stuff again though, i know i'm still months to years away from actually making and releasing that visual novel style game i want to make with them but just drawing these characters again is such a treat. ive missed them

I also only had the realization like last week after having his design like this since 2016 but Vernon literally looks like those Purple Guy interpretations back during the Rebornica era and i can't believe i never noticed until now. i mean look at him i even gave him a purple jacket

Just wanted to test the post feature so here's sketched (re)designs of some characters from a few months ago (left to right: Eyeman, Fafnir, Thunder)
(fun fact: two of these originate from GameJam projects)

It has a long snout, two horns, 4-clawed feet, and a long tail. Its eyes have black sceleras with white pupils. Its body is littered with scars. A spear is stabbed through its neck, sticking out on both sides. It has large, tattered wings with arrows sticking in them. An arrow also sticks out of its abdomen. The name "Fafnir" is written on the image. A quadrupedal cat-like creature. It has no mouth, two round eyes without pupils and lightning-shaped whiskers. Its fur stands up as if electrically charged. Its tail and ears are in the shape of lightning.
