The study investigates the mechanism by which the ceramide analog LCL768 induces mitophagy and metabolic stress in HNSCC. Resipher was used to measure real-time OCR over 24 hours to assess the impact of mitophagy on mitochondrial respiration.

This study explores the physiological & metabolic consequences of whole-genome duplication using tetraploid C. elegans, organisms with four sets of chromosomes. Using Resipher, the team found that tetraploid worms displayed altered mitochondrial respiration profiles.

Using Resipher for live, label-free metabolic analysis, the study confirmed enhanced mitochondrial capacity in these organoids, which recapitulated disease phenotypes including arrhythmia and fibrosis, and enabled successful drug screening for desmoplakin cardiomyopathy.

Tan et al. show that pericellular oxygen can become limiting in standard culture due to media depth, creating hypoxia‑like effects even in low‑density cultures. Resipher measurements uncovered steep oxygen gradients driven by media volume & other key findings.

The Resipher platform was used to continuously measure OCR and evaluate whether lactate can serve as an oxidative fuel in glioma cells. The team found that neither mouse nor human cells could sustain viability or ATP production when glucose was replaced with lactate.
